Personal project
Being an avid Ice Hockey fan and regularly visiting nhl.com to check the latest scores and news I am always left feeling overloaded by the crowded design and mess that is the current site. The site just wants to throw too much content at you all at once in the hope you find what you are looking for.
I decided to redesign the site into a design that I would like to navigate through and is easy on the eye.
Update* - The NHL have decided to relaunch their new website that reflects some of the design aesthetics I was trying to employ in my own redesign. They have stripped back their content for a cleaner design which makes the site easier to navigate.
